Planning

All our photographic projects start with a planning phase following a creative briefing meeting with the client. The plan is converted into a storyboard of thumb nails showing the types of images we are looking to capture.   This careful planning phase and storyboard production helps the project run smoothly and enables the ‘buy in’ and approval from all parties involved prior to the shoot, saving considerable time on the day.

Site Visit

For location shoots, we would recommend a pre-shoot site visit so we can get an understanding of what is required, and any additional lighting, backgrounds, electrics, or props that will be required. It will also help create a pre-shoot plan to make sure the site is ready to be photographed.

Art Direction

Art direction is provided alongside all photographic projects. The art director will ensure the design and branding of any work being undertaken transfers across the new photography and is the format and style required.

Models, Styling & Props

If you require models for your photoshoot, we can cast the right people for your project. Most commercial and industrial clients prefer to use their own employees on their photographs but often the occasion arises where more professional models or specific types of individuals are required to create the right image within the pictures. This is usually the case when looking at fashion or lifestyle industries. We can also arrange various artists and stylists with experience in fashion, food and make up to complete the look. We can also source and arrange the hire or purchase of various specialist props and costumes if these are required.

Photographic Location Services

Piranha Digital provides a location services to identify the best location for your photoshoot. We can source locations geographically for you and cross reference this with architectural style to get the perfect backdrop. The locations are both indoor and outdoor and we can provide a shortlist, including initial images. We have a comprehensive list of locations available in many categories including: Urban landscapes, Domestic houses gardens and flats, Interiors, Galleries and studios, Entertainment, food, drink & accommodation, Education & Sport, Industry & Commerce, Transport, Mansions, manors & stately homes, Gatehouses and follies and Hospitals.

Stock Photographs

Sometimes it is simply not possible or cost effective to take the photographs you need – think a picture of the earth from space! In these instances, the use of stock photography can complement your own images. We have accounts with most of the leading stock library companies and can source, purchase, and administer the use of the images on your behalf. Whist you never own outright stock images, by carefully selecting royalty free images and checking the licencing agreements, we generally can source images for you that have little restrictions on usage, require just one payment and will last the lifetime of your project.

Aerial & Drone Video Photography

At Piranha, we have partners who we work with on providing aerial and drone photography aerial photography is great for use on websites or corporate literature where the scale of an organisation or the beauty of the surrounding landscape is required, such as holiday parks, golf courses or development sites.

Photography For PR

Piranha also provides PR photographic services to complement press releases or for use on websites and blog sites. As many PR opportunities present themselves at short notice, we can be on site or at any location very quickly. For fast, out-of-area opportunities we can arrange local PR photographers via the local newspapers to capture the images on our behalf and to our brief.
